Halloween place cards: cast a spell with the Griffy font

A proper Halloween table needs pumpkins, flickering candles… and guests who find their names written in a witch’s hand. To help you cast that spell, we’ve added a new font: Griffy.

The word Halloween written in the Griffy font
Spooky!

Griffy, a font that casts a spell

Griffy’s looping, hooked letters look as if they came straight out of an old book of spells. It’s more playful than scary, it stays easy to read even with long names, and it has every accent your guests’ names might need.

You’ll find Griffy in the font selector under “Retro & party”, next to Count Suckula, our other Halloween font.

Griffy or Count Suckula?

You can also mix them: one for the names and the other for the tables, or the other way around.

Step 1: Choose a Halloween design

All our Halloween place card templates are on one page. Pick the one closest to the mood of your party.

Step 2: Add your guests

Paste your guest list, one name per line, or upload an Excel file with the names in the first column and the tables in the second. Check the guest count to make sure nobody’s missing.

Step 3: Switch to Griffy

In “Personalize the name”, open the font selector, choose “Retro & party”, then Griffy. The preview updates instantly. Do the same in “Personalize the table” so your table names match.

A few ideas to take it further:

Step 4: Print

Download your PDF and print it on card stock, ideally around 75 lb cover (200 g/m²). Cut out the cards and, for tent cards, fold along the line.

Now light the candles and keep an eye on the cauldron. Happy Halloween! 🎃

You’re all set. Over to you!
